Probably not the best activity the day before I'm supposed to run 13.1 miles! We took a long drive out to Royalston MA and went on a lovely hike that we last did in late October 2009. When we went there last year the colors were slightly past the peak but it was still breathtaking. This year we went slightly before the peak! We all had a great time, but I think possibly the dogs had the most fun . . . . they don't go hiking nearly as often as they did in the pre-munchkin era.
