We had a good weekend with the kids. It could only go up after the previous weekend of multiple bugs infecting the whole household!
On Saturday we laid low and just had a nice day playing inside. Ryan did lots of painting / coloring and playdoh. The temperature actually went above freezing on Sunday so we made the most of it and went to the Franklin Zoo in Boston.
Lots of the animals were moved indoors for the winter but the lions and tigers were still outside. It was very cool to see the lion standing on the rock surrounded by snow. Unfortunately but the time I got ready to take a picture with Jason and Ryan he decided that he was tired and wanted to lay down!

We spent a lot of time inside the indoor tropical forest area with the gorillas, birds, snakes etc. Ryan really enjoys the zoo but I think one of his highlights was when he was running around with a little girl a few months older than him!
After that we zipped into the mall to return a couple of Jason's Christmas presents that didn't fit properly (yup I know it is more than a month past Christmas), and get the strap adjusted on my gorgeous new watch that Jason bought for me - so I can now actually wear it!
We're both bummed that the weekend is over and we have to go back to work but luckily we have episodes of 'LOST' and '24' to look forward too. These are some of the only shows that we both absolutely love and look forward to watching!)
